Provides sales support and generates business for all Seaboard Marine services. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required :

• Minimum of two (2) years of recent customer service experience in a professional office setting, within the ocean transportation or logistics industry.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish at an advanced level (speak, read, and write).
• A valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Intermediate computer skills (in programs such as MS Word, Excel & Outlook).
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to work effectively with sales, pricing personnel as well as with demanding customers.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and fellow employees.
• Possess strong organization and time management skills. Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries and follow procedures and instructions.
• Ability to prepare a variety of reports.
• Ability to think logically and make sound decisions based on own discretion.
• Flexibility to attend conferences, trade shows, and occasional in-person / offsite meetings with customers.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, holidays, and / or weekends.
