Role of the Position
Reporting to the Senior Executive Director of UNLV Global, the Associate Director or Director of International Partnerships is a pivotal role dedicated to expanding UNLV's global footprint. This position focuses on establishing and nurturing sustainable international partnerships to enhance UNLV's reputation and internationalize its campus community and academic activities. The role will contribute to the development of a global strategic plan and explore diverse opportunities for UNLV around the world. This role requires evening and / or weekend work and travel.

Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a Master's degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and / or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in international affairs, cross-cultural communication, education, higher education administration, or related field; a valid passport and ability to travel internationally; and the following qualifications and experience for each position level :
Associate Director : Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in international or cross-cultural program development with oversight of projects and at least 1 year experience in international higher education.
Director : Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in international higher education administration with at least 2 years in a leadership role with oversight of projects and management of staff.
Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
Preferred Qualifications
A Ph.D. in international affairs, cross-cultural communication, education, higher education administration, or related field is preferred; 5-7 years of experience working in at least one of these fields. In addition, preferred qualifications include :
