We are looking for a Lead Teacher in our Get Set / Early Preschool classroom (2.5-3.5 years old). Lead Teachers are responsible for ensuring compliance with Goddard's industry-leading Quality Assurance standards. Lead Teachers write and implement their own lesson plans based on Goddard Developmental Guidelines and monthly school themes. Most importantly, they create a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning. Our Lead Teachers need to have a minimum of 1 year of experience, have a good understanding of classroom management, work well with other teachers, and love working with children. We also expect teachers to follow our Health and Safety guidelines and communicate well with parents.
Must be available 7 : 00 am-4 : 00 pm Monday-Friday
Starting pay - $18.00 per hour
$500 sign on bonus for vaccinated teachers (to be eligible you must be within your six-month period of being fully vaccinated, or if you are outside six months, you need to have your booster vaccine).

Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Child Development, with management experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool.One of the following : a) Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field with 18 semester hours related to young children birth to age 8 and 2 years of management experience; b) Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development or related field with 1 year (1560 clock hours) of experience and 1 year of management experience; c) Associate's degree or higher in a related field with 18 hours of coursework related to young children birth to age 8, 2 years (3120 clock hours) of experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool, and 1 year of management experience; d) Current CDA or Early Childhood Teaching Credential with 12 semester hours of related coursework, 2 years (3120 clock hours) of experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool, and 1 year of management experience.And 2 years (3120 clock hours) of experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool, plus 1 year of management experience, as applicable.Responsibilities
Develop lesson plans.Meet the individual needs of the children.Communicate with parents.Participate in staff and training meetings.Design an appropriate room arrangement to support goals and developmental level of the children.Interact with children to support play, exploration, and learning.Present expectations appropriate to the child's age and development.Plan and implement activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.Communicate professionally with parents and fellow staff.Build teamwork and use assessment tools.Commit to continuing education.Employment Opportunity
