About The Position

Job Title : Physical Therapist

Experience : 1 year experience required; first-time travelers accepted

License : Active state license required

Must-Have : Strong spine / neuro experience, comprehensive memory care, and experience with multiple diagnoses

Description :

The position requires a physical therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

The therapist will work with adults and geriatric patients.

Daily patient census is between 15 to 22.

Candidates must be available to work every third Saturday of the month.

Holidays may be required as scheduled.

The patient population includes various spinal cord injuries and neurological disorders.

Floating and on-call duties are not required.

Travelers should be comfortable with a patient-to-therapist ratio.

Professional references are needed for consideration.

The candidate must have experience assessing and using adaptive equipment.

Skills in gait training, discharge planning, and patient family education are essential.

Familiarity with charting systems, particularly Epic, is preferred.

Comprehensive training in cognitive disorders and rehabilitation techniques is required.

The role prioritizes patient safety and injury prevention.

Candidates must demonstrate strong time management skills.

The position will involve collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
