Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to organization including labor workforce to maximize productivity and output in accordance with collective bargaining agreements while ensuring necessary resources are available
• Build / reinforce a fair and respectful work environment through consistent application of CBA work rules and company policies
• Mentoring and coaching Production Supervisors to become effective and confident leaders
• Execute performance goals and objectives aligning with divisional and company goals
• Maintain a high level of awareness of operational, financial, compliance, safety and human resource related performance objectives
• Responsible for shift production, status and turnover
• Ensure safety and security of aircraft operations. Interface with regulatory authorities
• Ensure regulatory compliance of technical operations activities on local basis
• Participate in the development and executing the tactical plans to implement strategy
• Maintain a high level of communication with all levels and employee groups
• Report status of operations, highlighting significant events to Component Maintenance Overhaul and Repair Leadership Team while providing direction to the shop to ensure divisional objectives are achieved
• Identify key issues needing to be addressed and assign projects where applicable
• Meets or exceeds operational performance goals
• Meets or exceeds business plan objectives
• Builds and maintains professional and productive work environment for labor groups and management teams
• Effectively communicates with employees
