Position Summary :     Pre-op / post-op RN who provides direct patient care to patients before and after cardiac / endovascular procedures.  Utilizes knowledge of cardiac cath lab procedures to ensure patients are prepared / educated for procedure.  Coordinates care with other disciplines related to patient scheduling, patient care team and staffing.  A strong knowledge of cath lab process to recognize / handle emergency situations.

Experience :    1 to 2 years critical care / cath lab experience / knowledge of cath lab procedures required.  Cat Lab experience preferred.

Education :   Accredited school of nursing graduate required.  BSN preferred.

License and Credentials :    NJ RN license required.

Required Skills :    IV certification, BLS, ACLS, excellent communication / interpersonal skills, flexibility, diplomacy, tact, foresight.  Performs well in high stress, fast paced environment.

Bi-Weekly Hours : 0

Work Schedule : Per Diem. Minimum requirement- 2 days per month and 1 weekend on call every 6 weeks

The minimum starting rate for this position is $53.00
