Responsibilities :

• Creating and editing original copy that is accurate, well-researched, and meets company needs and deadlines.
• Research and create long form blogs and other copy.
• Conducting research to formulate ideas or support writing.
• Assisting in other aspects of the creative or research processes to create cohesive, accurate content.
• Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team.
• Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements.
• Collaborate with designers and other professionals on marketing projects.
• Edit and proofread copy according to required tone and style.
• Source images and other content.
• Bachelors’ degree in journalism, communications, or related discipline.
• Min. 4 years of experience as a copywriter or related role.
• Knowledge of online content strategy and creation.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Strong research skills and creativity.
• Portfolio or examples of past work.
• Knowledge of SEO.
• Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
• Social media or content marketing experience a plus.
• A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design.
• Previous experience as an in-house copywriter, advantageous.
• Previous experience in a corporate working environment, advantageous.
