Job Title : Systems Administrator

Join to apply for the Systems Administrator role at Renaissance Technologies LLC

Responsibilities :

  • Handle user support, backup, installation, and maintenance of systems.
  • Manage emergencies, troubleshoot problems, evaluate software and hardware.
  • Design and implement new systems, support peripheral systems related to computing.
  • Participate in after-hours work and on-call rotation.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
  • Experience administering Windows (AD / NT) and Linux (LDAP) environments.
  • Thorough understanding of network protocols and fundamentals.
  • Experience with endpoint and network security best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with enterprise systems administration (considered a plus).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Radius, NFS, Kerberos, Mail Agents) is a plus.
  • Ability to automate tasks through scripting is a plus.

    • Additional Details :

  • Salary Range : $191,000 - $235,000.
  • Employment type : Full-time, Entry level.
  • Industry : Capital Markets.
