2026 Entry Level Rotational Program : Chemical, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering

DuPont's Engineering & Supply Chain Rotational Development Program seeks top talent to catalyze positive change, lead, think critically, and maximize value. Participants undergo immersive assignments across different locations and functions, combined with experiential learning, development, networking, mentoring, and exposure to leadership roles. Assignments cover varied roles such as Production / Process Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Equipment Reliability & Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Product Quality, Technical Service, Automation and Process Control, and Operations Leadership. Responsibilities include implementing engineering best practices, analyzing and improving processes, and contributing to projects to enhance safety, product quality, and equipment or infrastructure.

Base pay range

$64,680.00 / yr - $101,640.00 / yr

Requirements

  • Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related engineering majors from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
  • Minimum of 6 months of paid co-op or internship experience in the engineering discipline / major.
  • Legal right to work in the United States without employment restrictions.

Expectations

  • 100% geographic flexibility for best career development fit.
  • Willingness to relocate to new locations as needed.
  • Willingness to be on-call for plant area support when required.
  • Multi-year commitment to complete a minimum of two assignments (usually 12–24 months per assignment).
  • Preferred Skills

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities (taking initiative, agility, adaptability, influence management).
  • Continuous improvement mindset : creative problem solver, motivated by change, flexible and adaptable, collaborates to drive results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification (expected to become certified within first 24 months).
  • Training and experience with root cause failure analysis, process hazards analysis, and high-hazard process safety.
