Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Manufacturing Patrol Flex in Lancaster, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with all personnel. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter inappropriate behavior and / or unauthorized access. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Observe for signs of irregularities, such as security breaches, and report findings according to Allied Universal procedures.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying identification as required by site policies.
  • Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and incidents.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols for the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
