Potomac Pediatrics is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who can provide compassionate and collaborative therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and young adults. This position will work closely with our Staff Psychiatrist and the patients’ Pediatrician. This position provides weekly clinical supervision and requires a desire to work towards independent clinical licensure. In addition to clinical supervision, further opportunities for training will be available. Therapy services will be exclusive to primary care patients of the practice.

Requirements : Job Duties :

• Provides quality therapy to assigned patient caseload.
• Conducts intake assessments, assesses medical and clinical status of patients, and establishes appropriate diagnosis according to DSM-5 standards and definitions.
• Develops treatment plans based on intake and diagnosis to establish clear and measurable goals and objectives for client treatment.
• Interfaces and collaborates with Staff Psychiatrist, patient’s Pediatrician and other clinical staff as needed.
• Ensures clinical documentation is completed in a timely manner throughout the course of treatment
• Other duties as assigned.
