Responsible for adhering to a project’s Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Field Quality Assurance Program. Quality Technicians lead field inspections and utilize Temporary Labor to assist. Technicians must be fluent in Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical reading of project drawings, inspection requirements, and can assist in civil, and pre-commissioning inspection means and methods under the direction of Qualified and Competent personnel. Responsible for executing project Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Quality inspections. Interacts with Strata Self-Perform Electrical crews and other Subcontractors regarding Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Quality installations.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment :

Work is completed both in the field (90%) and in an office environment (10%). This position works in an outdoor environment and must tolerate all seasons’ weather; requires extensive travel though portions of the North Carolina and other states on an as-needed basis. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures. Personal protective equipment is required (included but not limited to hard hat, proper footwear, rubber insulated gloves, safety glasses). Must be able to sit, stoop, kneel, bend, stand, or walk short to long distances for 8-10 hours a day. Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
