Production Control IV

If you have a keen eye for the big picture, enjoy working collaboratively, and have experience in manufacturing or production operations, we may have the perfect role for you! As a Production Control IV, you'll develop and maintain detailed production schedules for larger and / or more complex programs to establish the build sequence, duration and lead times of fabrication, assembly, installation, test and other manufacturing operations to meet completion dates defined by the contract. You'll prepare and release production work packages, identify, troubleshoot and provide solutions to problems, and provide scheduling alternatives and workarounds. You will assure availability and timeliness of materials and parts required to support established schedules, record weekly status of program progress, setbacks, establish future goals, and close out work packages.

Qualifications You Must Have :

  • Associate's degree in a related field of study and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience A higher level degree may substitute for experience Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Advanced experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Thorough understanding and experience with the practical application of production and material control processes
  • Advanced MS Excel and MS Access skills
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer :

  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) II production scheduling system or MRP I material management software
  • Experience with MS Project, MS PowerPoint and Visio APICS certification is preferred
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, NASA, the US Department of Defense or US Military
