Description :

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) supports the nursing and medic visiting team during home visits through a paired visit model.

The PCT is paired with a nurse or medic during their shift to complete home visits.

These visits include management of the patient according to the medical and nursing care plan.

Tasks that the patient care technician may complete include but are not limited to :

The PCT also supports the virtual command center when not out in the field doing home visits.

Tasks may include screening phone calls, stocking and inventorying medical supplies, equipment, food, and nutritional items, and completing outreach to potential patients for remote monitoring.

Candidates will float within scope if needed.

All candidates will be assigned modules during orientation.

Modules are required to be completed while working on the unit.

The facility will review all background checks and candidates are not allowed to start with pending results.
