Emergency Medicine Physician Locums Job in North Carolina 12-Hour Shifts Specific Dates in November and December Assignment

Coverage Needed :

11 / 28 (7pm-7am), 11 / 29 (7pm-7am), and 11 / 30 (7pm-7am)

12 / 23 (7pm-7am), 12 / 24 (7am-7am), 12 / 25 (7pm-7am), 12 / 26 (7pm-7am)

Facility accepting multiple providers

Shift Description : 12-Hour shifts

Requirements :

Board Certified or Board Eligible

Must be licensed in North Carolina

ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications

Credentialed in NC Medicare and Medicaid, enrolled in PECOS

Assignment Details :

Open ICU with 1 physician and 2 mid-level split coverage

Average patients seen per physician per shift : 18-20

Supervising APPs (2 PA / NPs)

Support services with 24-hour availability at facility : Anesthesia, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology

Beds in department : 22

EMR : MediTech 6.1

Estimated credentialing timeframe : 14 days - Temporary privileges available
