Senior Electrical Engineer-Metrology / Test Equipment

NSI requires a Senior Electrical Engineer - Metrology / Test Equipment to support the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE), Avionics and Metrology Divisions. In this role, you will provide full-spectrum Electrical Engineering support in the production environment within the FRCSE. The divisions support the Fleet using test benches, Test Program Sets, Common Support Equipment (CSE), and Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE), providing end products to the U.S. Naval Aviation Fleet. The work centers provide fully Ready for Issue (RFI) components, including Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs) and Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs), supporting multiple Navy and Marine Corps aircraft models.

Essential Job Functions :

• Apply electrical / electronic engineering knowledge to support the design, development, testing, implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and administration of test equipment and support systems.
• Collaborate, plan, and execute repair efforts.
• Prefer experience in RF / Microwave (attenuation, AM-FM-PM modulation, power, insertion loss, VSWR, noise, adapters, antennas, CDNs, signal generators, EMI receivers) and optical systems (lasers, fiber optics, illuminance, radiance, color, color temperature, optical density, night vision).

Location : Jacksonville, FL

Education : Bachelor's degree in electrical / electronic engineering from an accredited college or university.

Experience : 10 years of experience, preferably including 5 years of Department of Defense experience.

Allowable Substitutions : A Master's Degree plus 5 years of experience.

Security Clearance : Secret
