• This highly specialized nursing role involves assessing, monitoring, and stabilizing critically ill patients while coordinating with the LBJ Emergency Center faculty and Harris Health System EMS Medical Director.
• The CCT RN is a clinical leader and resource for the emergency care team and is responsible for delivering education, evaluating training programs, and developing new protocols.
• This role requires a high level of expertise in emergency medicine, trauma care, and critical care transport , including hands-on experience with ventilators, infusion pumps, intra-aortic balloon pumps, LVADs, chest tube monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring devices .
• Candidates must be proficient in rapid response, advanced airway management, and emergency procedures during transport.
