The Part-time Professional Administrative Coordinator’s work includes organization and preparation of presentations, program materials and reports for the campus; as well as, assists with a broad range of academic initiatives and cultural events on campus.
What you will be doing
- Works with Director to support and assist with various committees
- Develops and initiates documents, brochures, pamphlets and materials for campus promotion and advertising of academic programs and other departments
- Creates and updates content of websites, including text and images, collaborating with the campus departments
- Serves as liaison between departments on campus and the college to communicate initiatives to the Media Department and other entities
- Prepares comprehensive reports as needed and handles special research projects
- Processes department documents or applications as needed
- Coordinates and assists in development of academic and cultural activities / events and campus wide initiatives as designated by the Director
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and three (3) years of advanced professional and managerial experienceAll degrees must be from a regionally accredited institutionKnowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and proceduresPossess excellent organization and communication (both oral and written) skillsPossess strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals in a diverse communityAbility to write speeches and articles for publicationAbility to effectively present information to top management, committees and directorsAbility to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend assignmentsAbility to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staffAdditional Requirements
