- Job Summary :
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining social media marketing strategies with a resourceful approach to support Company initiatives and goals. Provides analysis and recommendations on the best course of action for social media campaigns.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Determines and maintains a constant relevant conversation with the general public in an effort to help enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Responsible for a strong understanding of digital space, social networking, social marketing tools, and trends.
- Responsible for the organization and coordination of online events as it relates to social media.
- Works to build and grow online communities in order to manage and interact with each social network on a daily basis to keep communities engaged.
- Develops and plans content and store communications for various social media programs for multiple store banners.
- Monitors, responds, and engages with people on various social media outlets regarding information being propagated about products, programs, and brands to form deeper loyalties, with minimal oversite by supervisor.
- Assists in determining social media / marketing budgeting needs, spends, and tracks against forecast.
- Provides insights and reporting on social media campaigns.
- Create visual content like photographs, graphics, videos, etc. with the ability to edit these mediums.
- Studies trade reports and other sources of information to stay current on marketing trends towards social media. Identifies and recommends appropriate social media channels, designs campaigns, tracks performance, and implements necessary changes.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Intermediate knowledge of HTML and other content management systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of current technologies and platforms.
- Skilled in writing, English and grammar, as well as general and internet-based computer skills.
- Strong organization skills required.
- Ability to represent all Company banners to the online community through various media types.
- Ability to review, analyze, and interpret general business and professional journals, and technical procedures.
- Ability to prepare reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to communicate effectively with groups of managers, partners, vendors, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions furnished in written or verbal form.
- Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes.
- Ability to show information in presentation or diagram form.
- Ability to occasionally travel to off-site and out-of-town locations with possible overnight stays.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.
- Education, Experience and Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in related field and three or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and / or higher education required.
- Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.

- Frequently required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to use fine finger movements (ex. sorting and typing).
