Project Manager – Electrical Construction (Data Center, Iowa)

Location : Iowa

Type : Full‑time

What You’ll Do

  • Lead electrical construction : design coordination, subcontractors, procurement, installation, testing & commissioning
  • Manage schedule, budget, and change orders
  • Ensure code, safety, and quality compliance (NEC, OSHA, local Iowa regs)
  • Oversee field teams; maintain documentation (RFIs, shop drawings, as‑builts, etc.)
  • Communicate progress & risks with stakeholders

What You Need

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering / Construction Management or equivalent experience
  • ~5+ years managing electrical construction, preferably in data centers or mission‑critical facilities
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution, UPS / generators, grounding, switchgear
  • Experience with utility coordination & commissioning
  • Good leadership, scheduling / cost tools experience, strong safety focus

    • Nice Extras

  • Master Electrician or licensing in Iowa
  • PMP or similar
  • Experience with BIM / commissioning tools
