Adjunct Instructor, English Creative Writing at UC Clermont

Job Overview

UC Clermont College is seeking applications from English / Creative Writing instructors for a Writer in Residence in Creative Writing for the 2023-24 academic year. Applications are being accepted on a continuous basis to be included in the general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty are selected to teach face-to-face and online classes in Creative Writing, as well as facilitate writing workshops in the local Clermont / Brown County communities. This appointment includes teaching one or two classes per semester, with the remainder of the workload made up in community-related face-to-face activities.

Essential Functions

• On a part-time basis, conduct, teach, and assess assigned undergraduate courses and seminars.
• Serve as a community liaison for workshops, readings, etc.
• Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in appropriate / closely related field and teaching experience in creative writing.
