What You'll Do As the Assistant Production Manager, you'll help lead production operations from start to finish-ensuring smooth workflows, effective communication, and consistent quality. You'll :
- Supervise and support production supervisors and technicians, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Oversee daily production activities including processing, packaging, and labeling, ensuring products meet all company and state standards.
- Collaborate with management to plan production schedules, optimize workflows, and identify process improvements.
- Enforce quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to ensure product integrity and compliance.
- Assist in managing production-related inventory, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance, Compliance, and Post-Harvest teams to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with leadership, providing updates on output, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Mentor team members, facilitate training, and encourage professional development across production departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready production environment that reflects company standards and state regulations.

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, business administration, or a related field preferred.3–4 years of experience in cannabis production, manufacturing, or packaging, with previous management experience required.Strong understanding of cannabis compliance, quality control, and production workflows.Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in environments with exposure to machinery, cleaning agents, or airborne particles.Must meet all state requirements for cannabis industry employment.Minimum of 45 onsite hours per week required, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.Why Nirvana Cannabis?
