Overview
The Billing Coordinator is responsible for providing billing support and other professional support services to Attorneys and Clients of the Firm.
Responsibilities
- Daily audit approval of new client / matter intake and change requests to ensure accuracy of key accounting data in the core system, including manual updates to information.
- Review submitted pre-bill / proforma documents and raise client invoices in the core accounting system based on attorney direction, distribution of resulting invoices to the client based on preference (e-mail, e-Billing system, mail).
- Process adjustments, transfers, application of funds held in trust and generation of ad-hoc pre-bill / proforma documents.
- Coordinate specialized billing processes for assigned attorneys.
- Assist with generation of ad-hoc time and billing requests and external audit responses.
Qualifications
Associate\'s Degree in Accounting, preferred3-5 years of experience in billing in a law firm settingStrong written and verbal communication skillsTechnical proficiency with business and accounting software applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe, Elite Enterprise, Elite 3E)Ability to work independently to meet established deadlinesAttention to detail, while understanding the big pictureProblem solving skills / ability to transfer technical knowledge from one assignment to the nextStrong organizational skillsIf interested, please email resume for immediate consideration!Additional Information
