Pharmacy Technician Compensation

The pay for this position is $24.45 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

The required availability for this position is weekdays 10 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM or 11 : 00 AM 8 : 00 PM, weekends 8 : 00 AM 6 : 00 PM

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

Work under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs

Enter data into the computer system to process prescriptions and obtain reimbursement / payment

Prepackage medication for dispensing in compliance with standards and regulations

Assist the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions

Package medication post-review and coordinate timely delivery to customers

Maintain good inventory practices, including receiving, rotating, and tracking medications and supplies

Assist with maintaining a clean, safe work environment by checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Previous pharmacy technician experience required

Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications

Active Pharmacy Technician license or certification in Tennessee
