Wise Staffing Group is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Bilingual Electrician Apprentice to support our operations in the oil and gas industry, if you have a focus on Electric Fracturing (E-Frac) services, this would be a plus; however, not a requirement. This role requires a strong mechanical and electrical skill set, including hands-on experience with both low and high voltage systems.

The ideal candidate will be capable of working in fast-paced, physically demanding field environments and will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining specialized E-Frac equipment. In addition to technical duties, the Field Technician will assist with various operational and jobsite support tasks to ensure safe and efficient field performance.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including both low and high voltage equipment used in E-Frac operations.

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.

Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pulling, and positioning large electrical cables and heavy components.

Monitor and analyze equipment performance to identify potential issues, inefficiencies, or failures.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient, safe, and timely completion of field operations.

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of services performed, inspections, maintenance, and parts usage.

Adhere to and promote strict safety standards and procedures, especially in high-risk or remote job site environments.

Skills & Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems.

Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written, for effective teamwork and accurate documentation.

Hands-on experience with low voltage systems is required; familiarity with high voltage systems is a strong advantage.

Physically fit and able to perform strenuous manual labor in outdoor, remote, and potentially harsh field conditions.

Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.

Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and a proactive, self-motivated work ethic.
