• Neuro and Cardiac experience
• Advanced skills including glucose monitoring, Foley insertion, dressing changes, EKGs, and peritoneal dialysis

Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit.

The unit features a total of 25 beds with patient ratios of 4 : 1 during the day and 5 : 1 at night.

Staffing includes 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator, 6-7 RNs, 2 technicians, and 1 unit secretary.

The unit is equipped with Alaris Pumps, tele-tracking systems, iMobile Communication, B450 Monitors, and a Pyxis documentation system.

Full-time positions require working 36 hours per week and every third weekend.

Part-time positions require 24 hours per week and every third weekend.

PRN positions require three shifts per month, including one weekend shift.

Travelers / Contract positions require 36 hours per week and every other weekend.

Floating to other units may be required based on hospital needs.

The role involves triaging acute care patients and identifying life-threatening rhythms.

This newly built unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology designated for observation care.

Candidates should be energetic and thrive in a fast-paced and friendly environment.
