Job Title

CoBank is seeking a Tech Services Engineer to join our highly collaborative Technical Services team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in problem-solving, enjoys working closely with others, and is passionate about leveraging automation and cloud solutions to drive efficiency. You will play a key role in supporting end-user computing, optimizing performance, and contributing to enterprise-level technology initiatives — including Windows 11 refreshes and ongoing modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex end-user computing issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage ticket fulfillment and resolution processes through frontline support and tech services queues.
  • Implement automation solutions to improve process efficiency and consistency.
  • Monitor and optimize end-user computing performance.
  • Lead incident response efforts for end-user computing issues.
  • Manage IAM tasks, including role-based access control and user provisioning.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Support platform integrations and automations across cloud environments.
  • Contribute to ongoing refresh and transformation projects, including Windows 11 migrations.

Must Haves

  • 3–4 years of experience in end-user computing or technical support.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and cloud-based technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and macOS environments.
  • Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell or Bash) to build or maintain automation processes.
  • Experience supporting remote users using various remote tools.
  • Understanding of IAM principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to explain technical issues clearly.
  • Proven reliability and consistency in previous roles (no short-term or "jumping" contracts).
  • Nice to Haves

  • Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, AWS).
  • Basic understanding of AWS and integration concepts.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with automation and DevOps tools.
