Job Description
The Finish Painter is responsible for the proper application of paint. Ensures the highest quality product and meets customer specifications.
- Follows and complies with all safety, work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
- Refers issues / problems to Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager for disposition.
- Will ensure parts are prepared for paint application, including sanding, cleaning and taping
- Make minor cosmetic repairs to parts
- Mix paint according to customer specifications
- Verify finished paint matches paint chip
- Operate paint booth control systems including oven
- Ensure spray guns are properly maintained
- Keep floor paper and booth filters cleaned as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
