We’re seeking a passionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a high-demand travel opportunity in Amsterdam, NY . Position Details :

Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025

Location : Amsterdam, NY

Schedule : 3x12 Nights

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Requirements :

  • Active New York State Respiratory Therapist (NYS RT) license
  • BLS , ACLS , and NRP certifications required (facility can provide NRP on-site)
  • PALS certification optional
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy
  • Travel experience required (renewals preferred)
  • Must not have previously worked at this facility as staff

    • Responsibilities :

  • Assess, treat, and manage patients with acute or chronic cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Perform diagnostic tests (ABG analysis, pulmonary function testing)
  • Administer oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications
  • Manage ventilators and life-support equipment
  • Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response calls
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to create tailored care plans
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and home care
