As a Security Officer Aero Defense Patrol in Simi Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with individuals on site, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. Pay Rate : $25.00 / Hour

Mon 04 : 00 PM - 01 : 00 AM

Tue 04 : 00 PM - 01 : 00 AM

Wed 04 : 00 PM - 01 : 00 AM

Thur 04 : 00 PM - 01 : 00 AM

Fri 04 : 00 PM - 01 : 00 AM

What You'll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats within the location.
  • Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and directions as needed.
  • Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
