Hours / Day : 8

Shift Notes : 4×8’s followed by 5×8’s (32-hour guarantee)

Weekend Requirements : 1 weekend per 4-week schedule

On Call Requirements : 1 night call per week and 1 weekend per 4-week schedule

Position Summary :

The Surgical Technologist I functions as a vital member of the Operating Room team. This individual demonstrates knowledge of surgical procedures, ensures all supplies and equipment are available and in proper working condition, confirms and / or assembles sterile instruments, and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. The CST is responsible for maintaining the sterile field, assisting in monitoring for breaks in technique, and keeping an accurate account of medications, sharps, instruments, and sponges.

Submission Requirements :

3+ years of CST experience – Required

Experience with Ortho, Sports Medicine, OB / GYN, Ophthalmic, and Urology – Required

Proficient with C-sections – Required

Travel experience – Highly Preferred

NBSTSA Certification – Required

BLS (AHA) – Required
