Responsibilities Work in a 56-bed Emergency Department within an acute care hospital Combined adult and pediatric patient population Level I trauma center and Magnet facility environment Night shifts available as either 3x12 or 4x12 hour schedules (19 : 00-7 : 30) Average daily census is 175 patients No on-call responsibilities No floating required outside of scope of assignment Cerner EMR experience required Responsible for triage, stabilization, and emergency interventions for diverse patient presentations Must work every other weekend as part of shift requirements Expectation to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during assignment Scrub attire should be any solid color Free parking permit provided; paperwork completed during orientation Orientation includes virtual and on-site modules Requirements Active IL RN license required or proof of application in process Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA or Red Cross only, RQI cards not accepted) Experience with adult and pediatric emergency care including cardiac, trauma, neurological, orthopedic, psychiatric, respiratory, and pediatric emergencies Strong skills in cardiac monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and obtaining 12-lead EKGs Proficiency in IV therapy, phlebotomy, medication administration including IV sedation, vasopressors, and procedural sedation Experience handling neurological, orthopedic, psychiatric, and respiratory emergency cases Cerner EMR experience required SSN and DOB required for job consideration Must not have been a permanent or PRN employee of Memorial for the past 12 months Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615452.
