Key Responsibilities :
Provide individualized, one-on-one care to children with autism in the comfort of their homes.
Utilize evidence-based practices and positive reinforcement to teach essential daily living and social skills.
Build strong relationships with clients to identify their interests and motivators, facilitating effective implementation of behavior plans.
Implement skill acquisition and behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a supervising BCBA.
Accurately collect and maintain data for all treatment and behavior programs for analysis by the BCBA.
Engage in direct care while receiving regular support, training, and supervision from the BCBA.
Modify interventions according to BCBA instructions as needed.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of each client's intervention and treatment plans.
Fulfill RBT credentials requirements, including the annual competency assessment following BACB guidelines.
Document and track RBT supervision hours for compliance purposes.
Ensure compliance with annual renewal of both the RBT competency assessment and BACB ethical standards.
Engage actively in clinical team meetings and participate in ongoing training opportunities.
Ensure accurate session documentation for timely billing processes.
Skills and Qualifications :
Valid Registered Behavior Technician Certificate from the BACB.
Physical capability to perform tasks, including prolonged walking, running, standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients' families and to document session notes.
Confident interpersonal skills for engaging with families.
A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
A dedicated team player with patience and professionalism.
Outstanding organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
Verifiable work references and the ability to pass a background check.
Preferred : Minimum of 6 months of experience utilizing ABA therapy with individuals on the autism spectrum in a supervised environment.
