SUMMARY :

This position oversees a single department. Responsible to act in accordance with the policies set forth inthe Macuch Steel Employee Handbook. Daily responsibilities include maximize production, minimize cost, manage personnel, advance information flow, promote safety and assure atop-quality end product.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage and Train department employees Manage Process Efficiency & Resources Manage Information Flow.
  • Control Expenses Quality & Safety Customer Service.

QUALIFICATIONS :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

  • Two -or more years' experience in shop floor production, specifically with structural steel ideally.
  • One year or more experience as foreman or supervisor.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Experience with CNC and manual machine operation.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • ABILITY TO READ A TAPE MEASURE TO f16" ISA MUST.
