Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol

As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol in Garland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeWed02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at the financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, addressing concerns specific to a financial environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe any irregularities.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and / or security-related activity in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with site staff and local law enforcement when necessary to address incidents and maintain a secure environment at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
