Position Title : Interactive Designer

Location : Washington, DC

Duties

Create low- to high-fidelity wireframes of front-end screens for Commerce

Develop clickable prototypes for validation with stakeholders and end users

Apply consistent UI patterns, branding and accessibility standards

Define interaction states that tie to backend responses

Iterate designs based on feedback and performance of prototypes

Ensure front-end designs meet WCAG and ADA accessibility requirements

Collaborate with QA on testing

Support development sprints with design clarifications

Skillset

Proficiency in Figma

Experience utilizing design systems; component-based design thinking

Familiarity with accessibility best practices

Operating in SAFe agile framework; scrum collaboration and design sprint participation

Responsive and mobile-first design principles

Creating design documentation and specifications for developers

Data-informed design using analytics, heatmaps, and A / B testing

Notes

Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen's client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.
