ObGyn physician job in California :

Seeking an OB / GYN for an outpatient locum opportunity in the Rancho Mission Viejo, CA area.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible OB / GYN
• Coverage Need : Maternity leave (minimum 3 months) with potential extension
• Schedule : 4 days / week preferred, can accommodate 5 days / week if needed
• Clinic hours : 8 : 00 AM'12 : 00 PM & 1 : 00 PM'5 : 00 PM
• No call, no inpatient responsibilities; 100% outpatient
• LOCALS strongly preferred
• Locums-to-perm option available
• Common Procedures / Case Types : Abscess or cyst drainage / aspiration, Breast and pelvic exams, Cervical biopsies, colposcopy, Chemical / electrocautery of lesions, Cystoscopy, hysteroscopy, Endometrial ablation and biopsies, Epidermal cyst removal (Bartholin's Gland), Focused abdominal / transvaginal ultrasounds, Hormone replacement therapy, IUD and subdermal contraceptive insertions / removals, Pap tests, well-woman exams. LEEP, IV insertion, subcutaneous anesthesia
• CA licensed (or in process)
• Comfortable with full scope of listed outpatient GYN procedures
• Available for at least 3-month assignment
• Interested in locums-to-perm transition (optional)
• Well-supported office with standard OB / GYN resources
• Rate : 150 / hr, malpractice and mileage covered
