Job Title : Journeyman ElectricianJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to support the installation of electrical systems for infrastructure at a data center in Sandston, VA. This role involves installing and repairing control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit-breaker panels.

Responsibilities

  • Install and repair control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit-breaker panels.
  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
  • Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations to resolve them.
  • Interpret plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
  • Determine method and sequence of proposed installation of electrical fixtures and equipment, such as AC / DC motors, control panels, PLCs, switches, conduit, and wiring.

Essential Skills

  • 6+ years of electrical construction experience.
  • 4+ years of commercial experience.
  • Proficiency in conduit bending and installation.
  • Experience with switchgear and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and interpret technical documents.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience as an electrician.
  • 4-8 years of experience in the field or related area.
  • Journeyman license or equivalent electrical training and experience.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Experience on 10-50k square foot projects.
  • Experience working in data centers or mission-critical facilities (preferred).

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandston, Virginia.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00 / hr.
