Responsibilities
- Design and optimize real-time perception pipelines using visual data, LiDAR, radar, and point clouds
- Integrate, calibrate, and validate advanced sensors on robotic platforms
- Implement ML models for detection, localization, and obstacle avoidance
- Work alongside planning and controls engineers to ensure reliable, scalable autonomy
- Field-test systems in diverse and dynamic environments in and around Austin
Requirements
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of hands-on experience in robotics, autonomous systems, or AI / ML developmentStrong programming skills in C++ and PythonDeep understanding of perception, sensor fusion, and real-time data processingBackground in robotics, UAVs, autonomous vehicles, or surgical / medical roboticsFamiliarity with embedded systems real-time processing , or safety-critical applicationsExperience applying advanced AI / ML methods for real-time perception and autonomyOffer
The base pay range for this position is $170,000.00 / yr - $260,000.00 / yr.
