Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN with Cath Lab experience, a VA or compact RN license, and a strong background in scrubbing, circulating, and conscious sedation. Responsibilities Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab within a hospital setting Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and administering conscious sedation Work Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts (7 : 00am-3 : 30pm) On-call required 10-11 days per month including weekends, nights, and holidays Float to Electrophysiology (EP) Lab likely Utilize equipment such as IABP, Impella, pacemakers, FFR, atherectomy, angiograms, Mitro clips, and TAVR Epic EMR experience is preferred Cardiac Cath Lab RN provides and coordinates care for patients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team Must respond to STEMI call backs within 30 minutes Participate in on-call system for emergency and urgent procedures Will be responsible for patient assessment, care planning, interventions, evaluation, and teaching activities Adheres to professional practice models and quality improvement initiatives Team environment supports collaboration and patient advocacy Requirements Active VA or compact RN license required Minimum 1 year of RN experience in telemetry, critical care, Cath Lab, ER, or OR required Cath Lab experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required Proficiency in scrubbing, circulating, and conscious sedation required Must pass EKG exam at orientation (two attempts permitted; study guide provided) No local candidates within a 50-mile radius eligible Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-619847.
