Game Designer

Overview

MobilityWare is looking for a Game Designer to work on our vast portfolio of casual mobile games. This position will be a key member of a small team in a start-up-like environment at a growing studio for MobilityWare. The role involves creating Game Design Documents to enable Engineers, Artists and QA to excel, and working directly in Unity to generate content and refine gameplay experiences. The focus is on delighting players while bringing new ideas to life with the team.

Responsibilities

• Enable Engineers, Artists and QA through the creation of thoughtful, implementation-focused Game and Feature Design Documents.
• Using Unity and in-house tools to create design game content.
• Use data to understand customers and create, tune, and balance features.
• Be a generalist game designer, ready to work end-to-end, from core loop development to live service management on new games and features.
• Seek out critiques and opportunities to improve; iterate without attachment.
• Become an industry expert on casual mobile game design.
• Be a team player who listens to, encourages, and supports others.
