Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Sales Representative to join our growing team. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and closing sales of industrial electrical services including maintenance contracts, system upgrades, and new installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in assigned territory / industries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients including facility managers, plant engineers, and procurement teams
- Conduct client site visits to understand needs and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to develop accurate proposals
- Present and negotiate service agreements and project bids
- Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, and regular activity reports
- Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and client meetings
- Stay current on electrical codes, technologies, and competitive offerings
Required Qualifications
3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in electrical, industrial, or construction servicesProven ability to generate leads and close deals in a technical or service-based industryUnderstanding of electrical systems, industrial maintenance, or contracting (not hands-on, but familiar enough to speak credibly)Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsProficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft OfficeSelf-motivated with a hunter mentality and team-oriented mindsetValid driver's license and willingness to travel locally within the regionPreferred Qualifications
Experience selling to industrial, manufacturing, or commercial facilitiesBackground or education in electrical engineering, construction management, or technical salesExisting book of contacts in relevant industriesKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)
