Board Certified Veterinary Nutritionist

A company is looking for a Board Certified Veterinary Nutritionist or PhD in Animal Nutrition to serve as the Head of Nutrition & Research.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead clinical research efforts to support product claims and health benefits of offerings

Analyze and publish research findings into whitepapers to establish thought leadership in pet health and nutrition

Drive nutrition-forward R&D by collaborating with Operations and Innovation teams to develop and optimize products

Required Qualifications :

Board Certification by the American College of Veterinary Nutrition (DACVIM - Nutrition) or a PhD in Animal Nutrition

Proven track record in leading clinical research and publishing peer-reviewed journal articles

Experience in formulation R&D and familiarity with AAFCO regulations

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and collaborate across teams

Passionate about pet health and promoting preventive, nutrition-based care
