We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assembly, Test, & Launch Ops (ATLO) IPT Lead Engineer on satellite systems in Centennial, CO. The role involves planning and execution of System and Segment-level integration and test of space systems at GA-EMS.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accountable for technical, cost and schedule execution of the program's ATLO IPT.
- Ensure IPT work products are produced in accordance with the project plan to satisfy customer requirements.
- Ensure all IPT work products are completed on cost and schedule.
- Define IMS tasks required to complete IPT scope of work to achieve program milestones.
- Accountable for execution of program Assembly & Integration, Satellite Test, Ground Test, MGSE, EGSE, & Launch Operations.
- Responsible for external stakeholder engagement for IPT scope of work, frequently collaborating with customers, subcontractors and mission partners.
- Spearhead the creation and / or peer review of typical ATLO IPT deliverables including :
Test Plans
Test FlowsTest ProceduresTest ConfigurationsMGSE / EGSE Drawings & ManualsAnomaly DocumentationTest ReportsTest StatusEnsure the execution of program test and troubleshoot complex electronics systems from component to system level functionality.Contribute to conduct of program design and readiness reviews.Opportunities will arise to support internal development and new business opportunities.Qualifications
Typically requires a bachelor's degree, master's degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows : twelve or more years with a bachelor's, ten or more years with a master's, or seven or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.Familiarity with satellite environmental testing such as MIL-STD-810, SMC-S-016, and GEVS.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills enabling effective leadership interfaces with other departments, management, staff, customers, potential customers, and government representatives.Familiarity with tools such as Cameo or Magic Draw, DOORS, Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence).Must be able to work extended hours or weekends, as required, during SV test events.Active Top Secret Clearance required, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS / SCI Security Clearance.Other
