Overview
Maintco is hiring a skilled and experienced Lead Mitigation Technician to manage field operations on water mitigation projects in the Greater Seattle area. This is a hands-on, leadership role for a seasoned mitigation professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads crews, and upholds safety, efficiency, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on-site activities for water mitigation projects, including directing field crews.
- Perform and supervise water extraction, structural dry-outs, demolition, and mold remediation.
- Take precise measurements and develop accurate sketches using provided technology.
- Assess damaged areas and determine effective, code-compliant restoration plans.
- Operate and interpret moisture meters, IR cameras, and other diagnostic tools.
- Maintain open, professional communication with clients, project managers, and internal staff.
- Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and project scopes.
- Document work thoroughly using industry-standard software platforms such as Dash, MICA, and Mitigate.
Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on experience in water mitigation and crew leadership.Strong working knowledge of demolition and mold remediation techniques.Preferred : IICRC Certifications (WRT, AMRT, BMI, MRS).Familiarity with estimating software like Xactimate is a plus.Comfortable using restoration industry tech (360° cameras, tablets, etc.).Proven ability to manage a crew and complete projects on time and within scope.Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.Must be willing to be on-call as needed.Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.Benefits
