Department : Dot Transportation, Inc

Reports To : Customer Delivery Manager

Wage Range : $16.19-$23.06

As a Transportation Specialist-Logistics, you will provide support to the Transportation Department in coordination with customers, suppliers, drivers, and other Dot / DTI employees.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Schedules customer delivery and supplier pickup appointments
• Enters information to update file maintenance systems
• Supports Customer Service, Replenishment, Routing, and Dispatch teams on scheduling related processes
• Provides excellent customer service to external scheduling contacts
• Participates in continuous improvement projects
• Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
