Your Mission
Own the precision repair and upkeep of industrial rotating equipment. From planning a complex turbine overhaul to aligning a rebuilt compressor train, you will deliver safe, high-quality work on time—while documenting everything and mentoring others along the way.
Core Responsibilities
- Champion safety and quality in every task.
- Plan, oversee, and execute repairs with limited supervision; collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Read and apply drawings, sketches, work scopes, procedures, and specifications.
- Set up required equipment and tooling; lead safe lifting and rigging utilizing cranes and forklifts.
- Disassemble / reassemble and align turbines, compressors, and associated components.
- Modify and overhaul rotors, blade / disc holders, shafts, sleeves, gears, and couplings.
- Use precision metrology (micrometers, indicators, calipers, gauges) to measure and record critical clearances and dimensions.
- Complete and process turbomachinery documentation, including inspection reports, photo logs, and hold tags.
- Maintain a clean, orderly workspace and a professional demeanor with customers and colleagues.
- Ensure shift-to-shift continuity through clear documentation of actions, irregularities, and next steps.
- Coach and train hourly team members in repair processes and procedures; continuously expand your own skills.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalency.5–8 years’ experience with rotating turbomachinery (turbines, compressors, and related equipment).Advanced rigging capabilities; experienced with crane and forklift operations.Advanced measurement skills with high accuracy.Able to pass the annual dimensional inspection test.Technical Proficiencies
