This role includes accountability for nursing care outcomes and requires knowledge and skill to effectively meet the needs of the patient population served.\n\nResponsibilities\n
Collect patient health data.\n
Analyze assessment data to identify nursing diagnoses and problems.\n
Define expected outcomes / goals tailored to each patient.\n
Create a plan of care outlining interventions to achieve desired outcomes.\n
Implement the interventions as specified in the care plan.\n
Evaluate the patient's progress towards goals.\n
Continuously assess the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.\n
Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals in care delivery.\n
Incorporate evidence-based research into nursing practices as appropriate.\n
Plan patient care while considering factors related to safety, efficacy, and cost.\n\nEssential Qualifications\n
Ability to work specified hours, perform essential job functions satisfactorily, and maintain effective communication with others.\n
Valid driver's license and insurability by Avera Health's automobile liability insurance.\n
Active RN license in the state of practice.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n
