This is your opportunity to directly impact mission-critical operations by enabling agile software development for special operations forces. You'll join a highly skilled team supporting the Agile Software Development and Open Computing Environment program within the Program Executive Office Fixed Wing (PEO-FW). In this role, you'll optimize JIRA and Confluence environments, streamline workflows, and ensure data and processes are aligned to accelerate delivery of cutting-edge solutions that keep our nation's most elite operators mission ready.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain JIRA and Confluence environments to support Agile development and program objectives.
  • Create, manage, and optimize workflows, dashboards, and custom fields for program teams.
  • Coordinate artifact preparation, facilitate program increment reviews, and support agile ceremonies.
  • Manage user onboarding, access requests, and ongoing support to ensure seamless tool adoption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align data structures with program objectives.
  • Provide continuous improvement by evolving JIRA / Confluence configurations in support of long-term strategy.
  • Deliver clear documentation, reporting, and support as needed to maintain operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • 3-7+ years of experience as a JIRA Administrator in an Agile software development environment.
  • Deep knowledge of JIRA workflows, dashboards, custom fields, and integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Confluence and plug-ins such as ScriptRunner or Automation for Jira.
  • Skilled in supporting artifact creation and facilitating agile rituals.
  • Comfortable working in secure, high-stakes government facilities.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
  • Preferred : Scrum Master experience and knowledge of DevSecOps best practices.
