Boyd Hall## Pay Grade : Professional## Job Description : The Coordinator for the Curriculum Division is responsible for supporting the courses and curriculum processes through the ongoing creation and maintenance of eligibility rules, courses, and programs of study. Job Responsibilities Provides support for Academic Requirement maintenance, including creating / validating Eligibility Rules pertaining to Programs of Study and Eligibility Rules related to Academic Requirements. Supports the maintenance of Academic Plans by assisting with yearly updates. Provides support during degree check-out for graduating seniors. (40%) Supports the course creation process in Workday by building new course Eligibility Rules and Course Equivalency Groups. Responsible for validating and processing requests to change course Eligibility Rules. Responsible for updating Special Topics titles for courses in Workday. (25%) Responsible for assisting the Project Coordinator to ensure all students enrolled at LSU through the Academic Common Market (ACM) meet all rules and regulations of the program. Notifies students when they are out of compliance with the rules and regulations of the ACM. Explains situations to the students, assists them in correcting errors, and advises them regarding making decisions concerning the ACM requirements. (10%) Responsible for having comprehensive knowledge of scheduling and registration processes for the Louisiana Classroom Teachers Exemption Program (CTEP), a special summer program available to elementary and high school teachers. (10%) Responsible for timely creation and web publication of the Schedule of Classes Booklet and other web-based forms, such as the Request for Special Topics. (10%) Assists with preparation and implementation of the May and August Main Commencement Ceremonies each year. Assists in all areas of the Office of the University Registrar when needed. Other duties and tasks as assigned. (5%) Additional Requirements FERPA - As with all LSU employees, due to this position title and / or responsibilities, this position has an obligation to assist students in the acquisition of necessary services. Additional Information Physical ability and eye-hand coordination necessary to use a computer terminal, calculator, copier, telephone, and other office equipment; ability to sit in the same position for extended periods (3.5 to 4 hours) at a time using continuous hand motions when entering data into the computer system.
